When I started working there was no marketing team, myself and another colleague were the first. We hired in order to help launch a new product. In order to do this we started with an online strategy that included a social media plan (content and schedule), a website and various online advertisements.

Tante Sandra's Cookies (Aunty Sandra's Cookies)

March 2020 - July 2022

My mom set up her business Tante Sandra's Cookies and asked me to help her with the marketing. Along with two friends that have also graduated we set up the website (www.tantesandrascookies.com) and social media accounts (Instagram: @tantesandrascookies & Facebook: Tante Sandra's Cookies).

Helping my mom really gave me the opportunity to try new things and use my learned knowledge and turn it into practical knowledge. We did/do tests with Facebook advertising, SEO, heatmaps and Google Analytics. The pictures on Instagram and website were taken by me, allowing me to other skills such as food photography.

De Bunk'r Marketing Intern/ Marketing Assistant

Due to the success of my previous internship at De Bunk'r they asked me back for my second internship. This time I had more responsibility and expanded my knowledge and management skills.

I got the responsibility of overseeing the front desk, making sure that they followed protocol and helping them with the newly implemented systems. Next to the new responsibilities, I had to help with the social media, create posters for events, take pictures at events and help where it was necessary. After my internship I started working there from July 2019 to March 2020, when they had to close due to the corona virus.

De Bunk'r Marketing Intern

Sept 2017 - May 2018

De Bunk'r was a sports club with an indoor and outdoor training facility, in Rotterdam.They were a new company that was open for 5 months when I started my internship. At De Bunk'r I had to help with the social media, create posters for events, take pictures at events and help where it was necessary. To see the work I created for De Bunk'r click here. I really liked my internship here, because it thought me a lot about a beginning company and the marketing that goes with that. But it also thought me about the kind of people and environment I want to work in. An environment that is supportive and where I am comfortable being myself.

McDonald's Employee

2014 - 2014

The experience I had working at McDonald's helped me with my management classes. It thought me about different management styles, how to work with different people and that there isn't one management style that is the best for everyone.

I started my study at Breda University, an international school where the education language was English. I studied International Media and Entertainment Management with a specialization in Marketing. I graduated in 2020 with a GPA of 3.12 and an grade average of 7.

St. Montfort is a school in Rotterdam where is spent my last 2 years of high school. After which I took a year off, to really think about what I was passionate about and what I wanted to do in the future.
